ASEH prize to Rick Keyser

The American Society for Environmental History has awarded the 2009 Alice Hamilton prize for best article outside of Environmental History to ENFORMA member Rick Keyser for his article “The Transformation of Traditional Woodland Management: Commercial Sylviculture in Medieval Champagne,” French Historical Studies 32, no. 3 (2009): 353-384. Big congratulations!

ASEH 2011 panel on sustainability

Tim Sistrunk would like to organize a panel for the 2011 ASEH conference tentatively named: “Medieval European Approaches to Issues of Sustainability”.
